European 3DS Nintendo Direct this Thursday, what will we see?

The failed Satoru Iwata clone, Satoru Shibata, has just announced to the Internet that Nintendo will be hosting a European Nintendo Direct this Thursday at 7pm, and 3DS will be the bell of the ball.

So what can we expect? A cemented Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon release date would be a nice start, as well as more info on Epic Mickey Power of Illusion and Castlevania Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate. Perhaps some release dates for the likes of Sakura Samurai and Harmo Knight? Oh! Or a date for Fire Emblem. That’s still coming, right?

Or perhaps we could get something completely new, like Gameboy Advance games coming to the Virtual Console, or a 3DS release for the Everybody Votes channel. We just don’t know what information will be muttered in Shibata’s cute little voice.

Not long to wait, but that doesn’t mean speculation can’t occur. What are you hoping for from this surprise Nintendo Direct?

I’d love to see Shibata confirm European releases of New Style Boutique (a.k.a. Style Savvy: Trendsetters) and Fluidity: Spin Cycle in time for Christmas.

Would be nice to have a closer look at Paper Mario: Sticker Star as well.

I do hope the spotlight will be shone on some of the third party releases on the way – Virtue’s Last Reward definitely deserves some attention (though I’m guessing its PEGI rating of 16 may prevent this).
